ILIANTHOSS is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at the address at the end of this page.

This policy covers all three of our websites: ilianthoss.com, ilianthoss.uk and ilianthoss.de. They are one site in three language and country versions, run by the same people, with the same practices described here.

When you send a brief: your name, email address, and — only if you choose to give them — your phone number, your company or brand name, your website, industry, target market, business goal, budget range, timing, what assets you already have, whether you are the decision maker, how you heard about us, and whatever you write in the free-text field.

When you contact us directly by email or through our social media accounts: whatever you send us, plus the address you send it from.

When you book a call: the details you give to our booking provider.

When you arrive at the site: the approximate country your internet connection is in, read from your IP address by our host. We use it once, to send you to the version of the site in your country's language, and we do not store it. Your IP address itself is not kept in our own records.

When you visit the site: aggregate, anonymous usage statistics. No cookies are set for this and you are not tracked across other websites.

To read your enquiry and reply to it. To prepare a proposal if you ask for one. To keep a record of the work we have discussed. Nothing else.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it to build a profile of you. We do use Google's advertising tools, and if you accept the cookie notice, measurement data about your visit is shared with Google so that we can see which advertising works and reach you again elsewhere.

For briefs and enquiries: your consent, and our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to. For anonymous statistics: our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works.

You give consent by ticking the box on the brief form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.

We use a small number of service providers, and only for the purpose described:

Vercel hosts the website. Resend delivers the email that carries your brief to us and the copy that comes back to you. Google Calendar runs the booking page, if you use it. Google Analytics produces the usage statistics and Google Ads measures our advertising. The two Google services set cookies, so they stay switched off until you accept the cookie notice. Decline and they never run.

Your brief is not sent to any other party. It is not published, and it is not used as an example of our work without asking you first.

Our providers operate in the European Union and the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is covered by the providers' standard contractual clauses.

Enquiries that do not become work: up to 24 months, so that we recognise you if you come back. Enquiries that become work: for as long as the working relationship lasts, plus the period our accounting obligations require.

You can ask us to delete it sooner.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict what we do with it, or to object to it. You can withdraw your consent. You can ask for your data in a portable form.

Write to us and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your national data protection authority — in Türkiye that is the KVKK Board, in the European Union your local supervisory authority.

If you accept the cookie notice, we set two kinds of cookie: analytics cookies, which tell us whether the site works, and advertising cookies, which tell us which ad brought you here and let us show you our advertising elsewhere. If you decline, neither is set and you are not tracked across other websites.

Without asking you, we set one small cookie called `ilianthoss-region`. It remembers which country version of the site you were sent to, so that you are not redirected again on every visit — and so that you stay where you are if you deliberately choose a different version. It holds a domain name and nothing else, and it expires after 180 days. Your cookie decision is stored the same way, in your browser only.

Only if you accept the cookie notice, our analytics sets its own cookies. Decline and it never runs, and the site works exactly the same.

Because our three websites are one site, our analytics adds a short parameter to the address when you move between them, so that your visit is not counted twice. It carries no personal data.

If you open the booking calendar, our booking provider may set cookies of its own within that embedded frame — which is why that calendar does not load until you ask for it.

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
